At first sight, a city suburb might be thought to hold little railway interest. Certainly, the Wall's roundabout is the closest that Network Rail and its forebears have ever got to us. But that doesn't mean that there's nothing of rail interest here.
Until the 1930s Hucclecote had an electric tramway, which at one time even had a goods service
Gloucester Stone used railways at two of its works, with Lister diesel locomotives
And we know of a couple of gardens with railways in them
